Vick files revised bankruptcy plan
Suspended NFL star Michael Vick has submitted a revised bankruptcy plan that funnels more of his future earnings to creditors, though a judge did not immediately rule on the proposal. Vick filed the new Chapter 11 plan Thursday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newport News. A judge rejected Vick’s original plan in April. The revised plan also ensures creditors will get some money even if Vick can’t resume his NFL career.

Jets‘ Pace suspended 4 games for PED violation
The NFL has suspended Jets linebacker Calvin Pace for four games without pay for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. Pace will miss New York’s first four games of the season and will be eligible to return for the Jets‘ Monday night game at Miami on Oct. 12. In a statement issued by the team Thursday, Pace said the suspension is a result of taking an over-the-counter dietary supplement that he was unaware violated the NFL’s policy.

Judge refuses to release Stallworth crash video
A Miami judge is refusing to release surveillance video of a fatal drunk-driving crash involving Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth. Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy ruled Thursday that making the video public would violate the privacy of victim Mario Reyes’ family. News organizations wanted the judge to order the video’s release by prosecutors. The family and prosecutors wanted the video sealed despite Florida’s strong public records laws.

Bills owner in no hurry to add games in Toronto
Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson is in no hurry to have his team play more than one regular-season game in Toronto. Wilson told The Associated Press on Sunday he’d prefer waiting “two or three years” to determine whether the northern experiment is a success before he’d consider reworking the contract reached last year with Toronto-based Rogers Communications. Under the agreement which runs through 2012, the Bills will play one regular-season and three preseason games in Toronto.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has started his review of the Plaxico Burress shooting incident under the league’s personal conduct policy.
